A BILL to amend the Code of West Virginia, 1931, as amended, by adding thereto a new section, designated §9A-1-16, relating to salary increase for Veteran's Service Officer 1 and Veteran's Service Officer 2 positions.

Be it enacted by the Legislature of West Virginia:

That the Code of West Virginia, 1931, as amended, be amended by adding thereto a new section, designated §9A-1-16,  to read as follows:

ARTICLE 1.  DEPARTMENT OF VETERANS' AFFAIRS.

§9A-1-16.  Salary increase for Veteran's Service Officers.

Beginning July 1, 2015, all Veteran's Service Officer 1 and Veteran's Service Officer 2 positions shall receive a $5,000 salary increase.

 

NOTE:  The purpose of this bill is to give Veteran's Service Officer 1 and Veteran's Service Officer 2 positions a $5,000 salary increase.
